A few of our favourite projects that we’ve worked on. For more examples check out our Instagram page
This is a 1950’s Minerva 2 seater daybed by Hvidt & Mølgaard manufactured by France & son. It used to belong to the customer's grandad. Covered in Kirkby, Leaf II in pine green. It’s a 100% recycled wool using yarns from the fashion industry. The back rest is square stitched and shallow buttoned in the front and back. I used the original spring cages, cleaned them up and recovered them to restore the comfort and then slipped stitched them all closed by hand.
Made to measure Cocktail chair on a brand new frame. The customer wanted a ‘tweed’ style and chose these beautiful contrasting fabrics from Abraham Moon: Banbury in mustard and Herringbone in natural. They worked together beautifully.
Booth seating for a restaurant. As part of a collaborative project I worked with a team to help deliver 7 small and 3 large booth seats for a restaurant with a tight deadline.
Ercol 312 settee. Sanded down, rewaxed and covered in Bute, Alchemy, Mojito wool. I love the fleck colour in this fabric and the vibrancy of the green.
A bedroom chair re-upholstered in this beautifully bright Cornflower blue ‘Verde’ fabric by Linwood fabric, made from recycled cotton from the fashion industry. With some contrast piping in grey wool to really pick out those key features in this chair design.
Bespoke outside seating area box cushions. Made-to-measure design. Uses water repellent fabric, can withstand prolonged UV exposure and has long durability for outside use.
Grey Queen Anne Wingback chair with contemporary shallow buttoned (square stitched) detailing in the back rest. Uses Warwick Amatheon wool in Gunmetal grey.
Tartan pattern matched wingback chair with scroll arms, stud detailing and fixed seat. Covered with Warwick Bainbridge wool in jade.
Cushions for this lovely slider rocking chair for a nursery. Covered in this lovely Clarke & Clarke ‘Polly’ fabric in Mineral by Studio G. It looks fantastic in the newly decorated nursery.
Bespoke fitted shallow buttoned box cushion for a window seat. Made with Linwood Verde fabric in Saffron, a recycled cotton using waste from the fashion industry helping to save water and energy.
Ercol seat pad in situ'. Included straps and popper to attach to the original chair frame
Tradional springed seat being restored. I primarily use modern upholstery but where possible we will always keep the traditional elements.
Restoration of a 1950's mid century frame with beeswax to revive the wooden frame and bring it back to life. Some fine wire wool and elbow grease was used on the metal to bring it back to it's shining glory.
Piped contrast scatter cushions in this beautiful bold fabric.
